Soremates

I've thought of a new word we can introduce into the English language. We have a word for soulmate, the rare person in your life with whom you share the most special connection with. How about a new word to describe the people whose presence is more frequent in our lives? Those sorry-mate affairs who start with best intentions only to end in sorrow. Soremates. So many of them around driving up the value of those rare few real soulmates out there...
