"Woman-Inside" sign for shared public restrooms!

Nothing complex or expensive just a small sign saying "Woman-Inside" or something to that effect. Similar to existing signs posted outside public restrooms. Some places such as small restaurants or cafes offer single restroom space for both men and women to share which is extremely annoying to women due to men's habit of leaving the place in bad hygiene. I propose women carry the sign in their bags and post it before they get in so that men waiting outside to use the restroom don't impatiently knock on the door or keep trying the door handle. When the woman comes out, she grabs her sign and enjoys the sight of men wandering around in distracted confusion.

Madoff was released on a $10 million personal recognizance bond secured by his $7 million Manhattan apartment. But because he failed to secure the required number of co-signers for his bail bond home detention was required. No chance of leaving the country now for a Ponzi-friendly jurisdiction...Madoooooff if you give me $1 million I'll jump in and co-sign on that bond. It's all for the public good! I have so many debts and people to pay and I promise to spend all the remaining money on charities and the economy. I know you have internet at home and if you don't mind you can wire the amount here. No prob. Do we have a deal Madoff?? :)

Press conferences going Japanese

Following the shoe incident with Bush in Iraq, press conference organizers are thinking of instituting new rules and manners. All participants will be asked to take their shoes off and wear paper-thin slippers. The measure is expected to improve the hygiene and ambience of the press room and make everyone relax and feel more comfortable.

Initially the idea was to ask participants to tie their shoes and hang them on power lines and phone wires outside the venue to give it western-style semantics but the fear this could be interpreted as a gangs-in-town sign or a drug dealer's marking made everyone revise and adopt symbolism-neutral Japanese manners on room hygiene.

I guess the most symbolic and heard-out-loud kind of peaceful protest to a future Bush-style US president, might be to hang shoes from power lines and telephone poles everywhere in town so that the message is visible from everywhere no matter what route the presidential motorcade will take to get in and out of town. It will be a spectacle to remember and the number of shoes hanging in protest a new Guinness world record countries will compete in!

Smoking Elephant

I stumbled upon this sign at a restaurant in Tokyo. First I wondered what it might mean. No smoking, sneezing and drinking elephants allowed in the restaurant? No blowing cylindrical items in here? Imaginative and cute for a "No Smoking" sign you will probably only see in Japan.

Wash-lock restroom logic

Invent a system that would not unlock single restroom doors for employees working in restaurants until water has been run and soap dispensed. This innovation might prove more effective than those 'please wash your hands before returning to work' signs. Sure people could work around the system but it would take just as much time and wouldn't be worth the effort.

The site sends a spam email with the following content: "Thank you for signing up on our site. If your personal info was stolen and it wasn't You who signed up then you must immediately Sign Out or Your credit card will be charged $100/month!" The un-suspicious user lands on the sign out page where he is asked to give his email address and password. Thinking he just saved himself $100/month he then presses the sign out button and he signs Up on the site where according to the terms of service that no one ever reads, the user understands that the purpose of the site is to trick people to sign up by signing out and that by clicking on the sign out button they willfully and permanently join the site with no option to ever sign out of it! :D:D:D

Don't ask me why we need such a site. I don't know. Some people may be too bored with their lives or there may be people who want to test how gullible they are. Or maybe the world is curious to know how many suckers don't read what they sign up for. I just gave out the idea, you come up with the reasons for or against it or click here to sign out of it :))
