You'll probably laugh at the thought, but how about a truly mobile food delivery business that operates in a truck? The kitchen is fitted in the truck which does a regular itinerary during the day around the city. The customer can email, fax or sms the order and have it instantly delivered either to his place or wherever he might be, even on the street. With GPS technology both the customer and the truck driver can see where each other is.
The major daily cost for such business will be gas but that can amount to less than monthly rent if the trucks are hybrid or even electric. Who knows, maybe in the near future such business can be competitive and profitable.

Unlimited taxi rides for flat monthly fee
The customer that gets in the taxi will show or swipe his/her card. The taxi companies can only operate fuel-efficient and environment-friendly cars and in return they will pay less taxes and be allowed to charge customers flat monthly fees. Fuel-efficiency will also be necessary in order to turn a profit as demand for the service will be high. With unlimited rides, people will tend to use taxis more.

How to deal with loneliness and stray animals adultoyfully!!
I can't reveal the name of the company that agreed to try it but the idea is to offer a dog or cat for free with every adult toy sale. 'Having a dog or cat to pet after playing with the vibrator can make the experience more complete and emotionally satisfying for our customers', the company's spokesman told the press.
The company aims to provide a permanent emotional fix alongside sexual self-gratification. If the emotional aspect of sex is petaken care of, women will be able to focus on enhancing sexual pleasure guilt-free.
Analysts suggest that the free gift won't cost the company a dime as the pets will be recruited from the vast army of stray animals roaming our cities.
The company claims its policy of helping stray dogs and cats find loving and caring owners is not only good business but also the socially responsible thing to do. Local authorities are happy to team up and subsidize the effort.
Incredible? You bet! But that doesn't mean it wouldn't be fun to try the idea just to see how people would react to the offer :)

If your date doesn't show up why not meet someone whose date hasn't shown up either? An online service where people post the time and place of their planned dates and photo. Look up to see whose date in the area hasn't shown up either and text them to meet up. You can easily break the ice by talking about how annoying it is when your date doesn't show up but also how fun it's to meet someone whose date hasn't shown up either. I'd call the service Date Awol Solutions! To encourage use of the site by everyone install internet terminals in major meeting spots around the city :)

Is small more beautiful?

I had this debate with a friend of mine who comes from a little town. The argument was that in a small place where everyone knows each other word of mouth spreads very fast. Thus if a business wants to survive, they can't offer crap quality. While this doesn't mean you end up with world-class quality in small towns, at least the bottom crap gets eliminated.
On the other hand it is only in a big city you will find world-class and better quality because of more competition. The counter-argument was that while it's true you will get more competition in a big city, you get it at all levels including at the bottom crap level. In other words, big size will allow some businesses to offer bad quality services or products AND survive.
I had to admit he had a point. So is size and not the degree of competition the ultimate factor behind eliminating bad quality? What do you think?

Until a day comes when all cars can emit clean gas, what about having aromatic car exhaust filters that make emissions smell like perfume, plants or flowers and not like mechanic farts? Wouldn't that help make our cities friendlier to live even though the level of pollution would still be the same? Even if clean emissions become reality one day, shouldn't we still require aroma to be emitted as a way to achieve large scale urban aromatherapy for all city dwellers cities?

The battery could cost an estimated USD 34,000, more than the price of a low-end luxury vehicle in most countries.
By leasing it, you don’t pay a large amount upfront and you assume fewer risks as a buyer. The company replaces the battery when it runs into problems.
