title reserved for people who use their laptop as originally intended, on the lap! there are so many kinds of laplords depending on where one's strong preference for lapwork lies, e.g. one can be an airport laplord, a park bench laplord, a home laplord, a bed and sofa laplord, an armchair laplord, a carpet laplord, a toilet seat laplord and so forth...the laplord is identified by his strong dislike of all flat cold and non-human surfaces on which to place his pet and a feeling of utter joy and happiness when he does so on his lap. excuse me for a moment, I must flush the toilet...

ok the laplord, in other words, is a very sensitive creature. after prolonged petting and depending on the machine's fitness and capacity to exhale, streams of warm air are felt on his knees and warm up his heart. the laplord is cozy, homy and very loyal. for instance, he never pets with more petite possessions such as mobile phones and handheld devices or big elephant creatures such as desktops. praise the laplord for his virtue and unconditional love to his creature!

Premium toilet paper sales. What drives them?

I propose the following research topic. Do anal-sex lovers buy more of premium quality toilet paper or not? One could imagine that if someone derives pleasure from something, that something will be treated gently and with great care. Sales data might show, however, that sexual pleasure and care for its source are not related. But what if they are??

burqini 24/7

in my view muslim women who live in the west and wear the black burqa should switch to wearing the burqini. the burqini is a much nicer outfit. why not turn it into formal wear? it's colorful and makes women look like cartoon or anime figures. speaking of anime, i wouldn't mind if the burqini is embellished with nice designs and marketed as islam's kimono. for women who live in western societies the burqa comes across as dark and depressing. most of my friends genuinely think like that even if they might not admit it in public. fashion can help change perceptions.

InVending Donations

A vending machine that uses the traffic light system to label various food options. The machine still sells junk food like chips and soda, but it adds a 5-cent surcharge for each one, which is then donated. The University of Virginia is already using one and managed to collect $7,000 which was donated to a children's fitness clinic. Not bad idea for collecting money!

Reduce rental car tank refill charges

Car rental companies charge ridiculously high prices per-gallon if the customer doesn't return the car full tank. Makes profit, sure, but also makes customers unhappy. Why not give small discounts (say $5-$10) to all customers who return the car full tank and charge a progressive flat fee (say $1-$10) on empty tanks based on the amount that has to be refilled? Customers on empty tanks will be penalized less than if they had to pay on a per-gallon basis and everyone gets the incentive to return the car full tank. The discount can also help lure more customers to the company.

do you believe in evolution?

i remember when i was a little girl in grade school and learning about evolution and all that stuff,.... i remember thinking in my little brain the thought... 'i don't believe any of this junk, because, if we all came from apes, then there wouldn't be any apes!' and that was the end of that! lol ! anything turning into something different made absolutely no sense to me, as a child, or ever since then, either.

Cemetery parks

Allow artists to draw paintings on graves' white surfaces. The deceased or their families can (pre)commission individual artists. Artists can also volunteer to draw interesting themes that reflect how people lived. As more people will visit cemeteries to appreciate the artwork, more tribute will be paid to those that passed away even from people outside the family circle. Cemeteries will become more lively spaces. I don't consider it an offensive idea to people who passed away.
