If this is the place to share those sticky, crazy ideas you can't get out of your mind, I'd like to share mine. I've always thought of an F-15 fighter jet rental business where people will ride the planes for amusement. The customer will be allowed to take 7 circles around the earth fishtailing and feeling the G-force and then the ride is over.
Those of them who don't return the jet after the 7th lap will be shot out of the air! :)

Reduce rental car tank refill charges
Car rental companies charge ridiculously high prices per-gallon if the customer doesn't return the car full tank. Makes profit, sure, but also makes customers unhappy. Why not give small discounts (say $5-$10) to all customers who return the car full tank and charge a progressive flat fee (say $1-$10) on empty tanks based on the amount that has to be refilled? Customers on empty tanks will be penalized less than if they had to pay on a per-gallon basis and everyone gets the incentive to return the car full tank. The discount can also help lure more customers to the company.

Rent a bike and watch a porno movie
I had to share this! You know about the rental bicycle programs, where you pay a fee and you can use any bicycle parked at various points in the city. There is usually a computer to automate the rental process. Well, a computer hacker in Zamora, Spain accessed the computer system and figured out how to play a porno movie on one of the bicycle stations. The free movie attracted a lot of visitors. Imagine this happening in a more crowded place like the giant screens in NY Times Square! Apparently the first police officer who arrived at the scene was a woman and could not stop laughing when reporting it to the others. Maybe she liked it :-)
