I don't understand these modern pirates...

Did you hear they make $150 million a year hijacking tankers and fish boats? My Jack Sparrow, that's a lot of money. The mistake they do is that they don't invest any money at all in pirate movies. A pirate gets bad publicity on the news and good publicity in the movies. All they have to do is invest a couple of million in Hollywood to make more pirate movies. That's it! Or hire costume consultants from Hollywood to dress them in traditional pirate attire. People will see them more sympathetically on the news this way. The rest of the money can stay buried under Somali sand :)

Same and eternal...

Do you ever think that life after death may be the eternal replay of the life we live in this life? Is that the fundamental essence of life?

To live it in the most fulfilling and happy way we can because if we don't we'll end up living the same unhappy life over and over again? Is that the meaning of life? or...death??

Is it really possible to take control of one's life and make it "happy" ?

Doesn't anyone have a problem with the idea of a life after death being the exact same repeat of life before death?

Why pretty women envy plain-looking women

Women who are pretty and draw their self-confidence from their good looks envy plain-looking women that are popular because it makes them realize that to be popular you don't have to depend on looks. Drawing your popularity from your good looks is extremely stressful because it is a constant race with time. Personality goes a long way and is less stressful no matter what the time!

Why women should be with younger men

Statistically speaking, women tend to live, on average, 10 years more than men do. If the whole point of being with a man for the rest of your life is to live your whole lives together, then women should choose to be with someone who is at least 10 years younger than they are but do so no earlier than their mid-30s. That's because men in their 20s and early 30s are still boys. In many cultures the opposite takes place, men marry women much younger their age which explains why there are so many more women widowed in old age than men. I believe it's smarter to have it the other way!

A lot of my friends had their birthdays around February and March and I was thinking what would happen if you were born the 29th of February? When would you celebrate your birthday? Once every 4 years? Any of you in this situation?

Stairs Ahead...Keep your hands Out of your pocket!!

This is in tribute to a wise old man I met today. I was going down some steep stairs in a public place with my hands in the pocket. This old man was coming up and stopped me to tell me to get my hands out of my pockets. I said, why?

He said "Wise guys never place their hands in the pockets when going down the stairs. If you trip over you'll hit your face very hard. You'll have no time to use your hands to protect yourself. Take it as friendly advice from an old man young man!"

That was one of the best and smartest stair-walk advice ever given to me. For the old man to give me such advice I thought it must be because he probably tripped over himself in the past and fell down some stairs pretty badly. That past experience must have resulted into some kind of advice reflex for him!

The moment he saw me going down the stairs with my hands in my pockets, the memory of his fall prompted him to stop me and give me the advice.

Whatever it was, I think it was good advice worth mentioning here. Next time you go down the stairs and realize that your hands are in your pockets, think about the old man's advice!

What kind of advice do you think the old man would give to young people doing parkour training running down the stairs with the hands in their pockets?

Break a leg or break a head? :)
