The 'body language' of text chat

I think there's a certain 'body language' in text chat. It has to do with showing to the other person when you're typing something. In Skype you can deactivate that option but not in Yahoo Messenger. If you regularly chat with someone they develop a sense of how fast you type and think, therefore, someone can detect when you need time to think of something or whether you're re-typing/editing a text message.

For example if you answer 'yes that's great' to a proposal then depending on the amount of time it took you to write the message the other person could infer that you don't think it's that great. Usually you start typing something then change your mind and want to edit the text, that is a hidden body language that the other person can see. It's not a bad thing but it's something to be aware of.

If you want to avoid being detected that you needed time to think of something, then type in a separate notepad window and cut and paste when ready

A New Year lovers message

If you are in a long distance relationship consider sending her this message for the New Year:

'2008 wishes and hopes have now passed most of them hopefully fulfilled or still renewable. 2009 new ones I'll inspire next in your beautiful big heart. 2009 new desires I'll soon be carving into your gorgeous figure so that we can fulfill them all together one by one as the the New Year ushers in 3 2 1...Happy New Year!'

Smart undies

I'm all in favor of smart underwear for both men and women that play messages depending on what you do with them. For example, if the girl is too early in removing it she can be told "Missile not ready for launch yet" or when the guy removes hers "Put on a condom NOW!"

Of course, with the rise of artificial intelligence there is no need to stop with simple messages. Once the ice is broken one's underpants can become a good friend giving advice on the latest theater productions, advising on political choices, tackle bedsores, warning when one's children need looking after and, of course, comforting one in time of trial and stress. When the underpants become aware of the web, it can participate in all sorts of networking since, on the net, no-one knows you are a pair of underpants :-)

Lucky You suggestions

Do you know of the Lucky You brand? It's a cool girls jeans brand. When you zip the fly down there is a funny message printed on the inside of the zipper. I would suggest to sell female underwear along with the jeans and attach silk wings along the line of the g-string with funny messages printed on them. The idea is to have both the front and back end covered and sell the underwear together with the jeans. Check the 2nd photo to see what I mean.

How to raise money for the Olympic Games

Olympic Games cost a lot of money and often leave cities and countries in large debt. Here's an idea to raise money for them. It's based on user hanagasa's thought about fireworks advertising.

For a very small charge (few cents) send a short personal text message from the mobile phone that will appear along with your name in the fireworks of the opening/closing ceremony. Only 1 lucky message gets displayed. The lucky sender gets refunded and his message read by everyone around the world watching the games. The hundreds of millions of people whose sent messages won't appear will raise hundreds of millions of dollars for the organizers.
