Question on Sexual Attraction

I read a woman's brain is able to decode the state of a man's immune system and if it's complementary to, or stronger than her own immune system, she will find the man attractive. Women use their nose to detect the pheromones and musk-like odours associated with men and these are scents that cannot be detected consciously. Does that mean that if a woman has given birth already she can also get attracted to men with weaker or non-complementary immune systems? That's important to know because if that's true it means that a man's chances to get laid are higher with women who have already given birth!

An intranet system for commercial flights

What about installing an intranet system on commercial flights whereby passengers could text chat or play games with each other? Passengers could use live text chat to meet or talk to other passengers or play games with others on the flight without having to change seats to do that. Isn't a long flight more fun when you happen to be seated next to someone who is very interesting to meet and talk to? How often does it happen though? Instead of leaving it all to chance and serendipity, an intranet system that can connect each and every passenger in the same way online social networks and playing games do would make flights more fun and interesting.

Choose the music you like while on hold

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to choose the music You like when you are put on hold? An automated system that allows companies to give customers the choice to listen to any music they like when they are put on hold would be a nice little innovation.

Movie scenario

2011. The US economy is going through its Greatest Depression. People everywhere are gloomy, depressed, unhappy. The government is too embarrassed and stops reporting suicide rates. Government-provided universal health coverage in the US has been implemented and all medical records are digital. All patient-doctor communication is electronic, therapy is delivered online and patients rarely visit the doctor at his office. The government wants to do something drastic to end the Depression and decides to write a software that will inform every citizen that they have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. You get informed that you have 1-2 years of healthy life in front of you before the illness takes over.

Will the government's action, however drastic, energize people to ostracize misery and gloom from their lives and turn a whole nation away from depression?

Do you think it is an interesting scenario for a movie? I imagine that the end will be that the whole nation will recover fast from the economic slump and misery but when the people realize that their diagnosis was fake they will be shocked not knowing whether to forgive or not forgive their government for lying to them.

How would you develop the story?

What you think of fridge design with juicer built-in? Very convenient idea for small kitchen, good for Japan house that is usually very small. Must also design garbage disposal system or garbage bag inside fridge to collect fruit debris.

Why do we need superdelegates in an election?

A democratic election is one based on people's votes. I don't understand why people who were not elected have power and authority to decide on an election outcome. I think we should remove super-delegates and electorates in US party and national elections. They complicate the vote and make the systems less democratic and transparent.

When Gore lost to Bush back in 2000 not on the basis of the majority of the national vote which he had won but on the basis of more electorates in Florida, that was a setback to the credibility of US democracy. We were criticized for that by people abroad.

I am worried that the tight race between Obama and Hillary might result to a similar situation. What do you think? Shouldn't we simply move away from this system, wouldn't it be an improvement to our democracy to get rid of delegates and electorates all together?
