I've often wondered why people wear socks with sandals. I always kinda thought the purpose of sandals was to get down and dirty with your hippy self. Air out these feet. Feel the sunshine. Let them breathe and play around for a little while. Wearing socks defeats that purpose. Wearing socks is restricting. Wearing socks is...a personal decision...but think about letting your toes-ies catch some UV action next time.

Dreaming up ideas
I bet everyone comes up with a million ideas all of the time. But is there a need to dream up the ideas if you aren't going to make it happen? What's the point of dreaming them up if you don't put them into action? It reminds me of someone who prays on getting a job when he hasn't put in the applications. There's no need. Be realistic.

Wasting your time versus wasting your Life
Lying on my death bed, I probably won't be thinking I wasted a lot of time in my life. I will probably be thinking I wasted a lot of my life. If for every time I was advised not to waste time, I could have been told 'don't waste your life' instead, perhaps I wouldn't be making these thoughts right now. Of course, I am not dead yet, I got to finish typing those words first :)

Celebrity freebies
It's quite ironic to me that celebrities, among the few in this world who can afford the best things in life, often end up getting them for free. Case in point: The blockbuster film in the making in the courtside seats at Lakers games. Apparently some stars, including perennial seat filler/heckler Jack Nicholson, actually pay for season tickets. But others reportedly get seats from record companies, film studios and corporate sponsors. Oh, and they also get a private entrance, special parking and courtside food and beverage service. I have just three words: "Must be nice"

Attract multiple men at one time
All my girlfriends seem capable of doing it. I can't. I feel too embarrassed to discuss it with them. I wonder if there's something wrong with me. I know there's nothing wrong with my looks, actually I'm pretty certain I look better than some of them. But then why doesn't it happen to me? Does it take talent to attract multiple men at one time? Is it looks?

Travel buddy
I have time and money and I want to spend it traveling. None of my friends can join me because they are too busy looking for a job or working hard to pay off their debts. I can't push them and I don't think I can travel by myself. I have never traveled alone and I don't want to. I would like to find a travel buddy to join me and soon. I am not looking to make friends, I am looking for someone who is in a similar position to the one I am, wants to travel, can travel but can't find anyone to join. An online matching site for travel buddies to hook up is something I need but nobody has thought to start one. So, if you can recommend me a travel buddy, I'd be grateful.

Kit-Kat in Japan
Today I learned that when Nestle rolled out Kit Kat in Japan, the Japanese couldn't help but notice how close the words "Kit-Kat" were to "Kitto-Katsu" which roughly translates "win without fail". Students began to believe that eating a Kit Kat before they took their exams would result in a higher grade, which was a major reason the Kit Kat brand is doing so well in Japan's overcrowded retail market. Interesting how we can be tricked into consuming a product for its name than its taste. It wouldn't surprise me if for Nestle "Kitto-Katsu" now translates "win without trying" :)
