Is she a source of great inspiration in your daily life? Tell her what you think of her. Tell her that she is so much more than just an ordinary muse for you, tell her that because of her being so yummy and delicious you think of her as your 'most delectable female chocolate mousse' you ever had. She'll love the compliment. In a moment of inspiration, I told that to my girlfriend this morning and it aroused never-ending blissful desires. How to find inspiration for your paper

I would like to put here, emphatically, that the best cure for a writer's block is manual labor. If you're having trouble with a story or something, get up, and mow a lawn, move heavy boxes, take a walk, whatever. The muse is loosened by the sweat of your brow. I just had my fair dose of it and now feel ready to wrestle over this paper due tomorrow. Or maybe I am still procrastinating musing out loud on the web instead of rambling paper thoughts on Word (lol)

The right to be lazy sometimes..

It's May Day and I'm feeling rather lazy sitting at home with nothing planned for today. Been reflecting about my work. In general, I love what I do but sometimes I get these moments where I feel totally burnt out and just want to lie down and do nothing. Like who doesn't, right? I just want to be lazy but as I question what motivates me to go to work, I wonder if we not only have a right to be lazy but also an obligation. For what if I let myself get totally lazy, so lazy that I feel lazy about being lazy and don't want to be lazy anymore, instead I want to go back to work. It's probably an absurd way to motivate oneself this way but it works. I guess laziness has its merits too :)
