A no-brainer...

We know the brain's split into 2 sides but that's not the politically correct way to think of it. For example, if the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body then, does that mean only left-handed people are in their right minds? ?? Besides, does anyone really know what side the center of the brain controls? None. That's because a center brain would get very confused trying not to show favoritism to one side or the other. So, if a center brain is not the right brain to have, what else is there left to have? :)

How should we choose our partners

I am not sure anymore whether trusting our feelings for someone helps us make the right choice of partners. It's tragic if what felt right at the start ended up being the wrong choice.

invisible mode

to be sin or not to be sin...

how about a software that works on any chat platform and allows you to see when others are on invisible mode without them knowing about it? how cool is that?

The right to be lazy sometimes..

It's May Day and I'm feeling rather lazy sitting at home with nothing planned for today. Been reflecting about my work. In general, I love what I do but sometimes I get these moments where I feel totally burnt out and just want to lie down and do nothing. Like who doesn't, right? I just want to be lazy but as I question what motivates me to go to work, I wonder if we not only have a right to be lazy but also an obligation. For what if I let myself get totally lazy, so lazy that I feel lazy about being lazy and don't want to be lazy anymore, instead I want to go back to work. It's probably an absurd way to motivate oneself this way but it works. I guess laziness has its merits too :)

Restrain order for calling too much!

I just read an article about a mother in Austria who got a restrain order from her son for calling him on the phone too much. The son claims his mother would call him up to 49 times per day to check on him so he decided to take the case to court to get a break. And he did, the court found the mother guilty for harassment and gave her a 360 euros fine. I think it's funny. Is this reasonable? And how many times does a mother have to call to be considered a harassment? Besides it's a mother's most basic right to care for her kids, right?
