Ridiculous way to monitor weight

What can be more ridiculous than a weight monitor chair that beeps, vibrates, cracks, moans or otherwise improvises its frustration with every new bite that adds a few extra unwelcome grams to your total weight. Basically, you sit on the chair to eat your lunch/dinner. The chair measures your weight before you indulge your appetite. 90 kilos. Right! Why don't you have a few more bites? 90.5 kilos, Silence..91, beep..91.2, small vibrations..91.5, cracking sounds, 92..loud moans..93, all modes of frustration-expression set loose..100, chair breaks down..there can be many ridiculous ways to lose weight, but few funnier than the one of which I speak. I rest my case..

The lost beauty of George W. Bush

People made fun or criticized Bush for not being smart or intellectual enough as president. Yet what people don't realize is that Bush was probably the most skilled president in terms of being able to ask a question and embed the answer in it. If you follow Bush's rhetorical questions you will realize that they are not rhetorical at all.

The answer is always embedded in it. Here's an example the media often cite to show how ungrammatically sound Bush is when all he is trying to do is weave the answer in the question.

Bush says: "Rarely is the question asked. Is our children learning?"

It's so obvious they are not and you know that as soon as you read or hear the question. This is a great skill and an act of brilliance by Bush. It was often overlooked in favor of spotting mistakes and making fun of him. That's mistaken!

Edible Business Cards: Eat me before you call me :)

I never thought contacting you could be so yummy! The cards exist, I think it is an nice concept for a gift, the person who eats the card might certainly remember the taste of it (good or bad) but forget all about the contact details. In which case what does one do? Vomit? Browse the crap? Just kidding of course! Ok, the business person has to make sure the cookie or chocolate bar on which the contact details are devoured tastes good, is fresh and won't poison the recipient. If you must make the card memorable by taste you might have to buy several of them to satisfy individual tastes which makes it costly. Unless you are a chef! In that job it makes perfect sense to actually use it as a card. Perhaps all chefs should adopt them and it might be the perfect gift to give someone who is a cook :)
