Last year, they passed a law in California to make it illegal to talk on a cell phone while driving. This year they made it illegal to text. Thank God I can still check email and comments on people's facebook pages. I love you so much 'letter of the law'. The world's a much safer place now!

Are YOU good at reading human nature correct?
A new law effective immediately dictates that any criminal/illegal activity by any professional in an industry automatically results in uniform salary reduction for everyone. The money is put in a trust fund to be used as compensation to the victim(s). Everyone shares the financial pain equally so there is strong incentive to enforce strict discipline from within (police abuse, ponzi schemes etc). After a year data shows a sharp decline in criminal/illegal activity. Which do you think took place? More self-discipline? Or more cover up??

Diagonal Crossings!

They can save time when you want to cross the street on a large intersection. Surprisingly you rarely see them in big cities, except for Japan perhaps. In the UK, crossing the street on a diagonal is called jaywalking, which is also illegal in some states in the US. Why can't the government install diagonal crossings with traffic lights on each end and make it legal to cross on a diagonal? Do you think it should be illegal to cross on a diagonal?

Is it illegal to name your child Anonymous?

Some names have a meaning, some don't! Last names can reveal place of origin, profession, ancestry etc But what about first names? If there are names that don't mean anything other than just being a name, then I think it should not be illegal to name your child anonymous. I am sure no parent would ever want to do this to their child, but I am fascinated by this, is it illegal to do so? If not, why? If yes, why is it? What's your reasoning?
