save trees, print less paper

imagine how many trees can be saved if printer settings did not give the option of printing on one side only. a simple adjustment in the settings to make all printers print using both sides of paper means less paper would be consumed. it's probably about half the amount we print now. if you think about it that's a lot of paper!

double-dipping partitions

in ozzieland double-dipping is considered bad-etiquette and bad-hygiene. personally, i have no problem with it. sometimes i can't be bothered and i will flip the back-end to double-dip but still people don't like it. i always wondered why they don't come up with containers that have partitions for double-dippers. the partitions could be colored so each person knows which one is theirs. double-dippers can dip freely without contaminating the container. i think it's a good idea and an easy one to do.

Why do we pronounce W a double U and not a double V or a double Me? W looks like an M inverted. A Double Me also rhymes better. Say out loud the alphabet:

a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v Double Me x y z

See? It rhymes better, doesn't it?
