Chapter 11nd

When it's the government, the lender of last resort, bailing out a big company without asking it to file for Chapter 11 first and re-organize, isn't that the same as putting a patient who has no chance to recover on life support? Direct government bailout of banks and car companies in the US is the equivalent of asking them to file for chapter elevEnd instead. It means the patient stays alive so long as someone doesn't pull the plug. Chapter 11nd means that since no one has the moral right to pull the plug, everyone is praying for a power cut whereby life support goes off and the patient downgrades to Chapter 7nd...

If you can't trust your neighbor...

As all Canadians know, we are on the eve of having to show a passport in order to cross the US/Canadian border. In our 200 history as neighbors, this is a disturbing precedent, and yet both Clinton and Bush confessed to having absolutely no knowledge of it when they came to speak together in Toronto. The two former US Presidents came to discuss global and domestic challenges facing the U.S. and Canada and both of them were ignorant about it. That such an important step is implemented without their knowledge is beyond belief. How are we Canadians supposed to feel?

Where have all Gore prezis gone and where are all the Gods?

Where are the street-wise clowns to fight the rising odds?

Somewhere after midnight, in my wildest fantasy that is

The new prezy is racing on the thunder and rising with the global heat

It's gonna take Superman to sweep me off my feet

Need no Bush no more, he's far too smart for my feet

Need no Clinton either, 2 much for the price of one, if you know what I mean

Need no Mister Olabama either, he's just a sweet-home Alabama kid

Johnie Ed has too shiny a haircut, and so does the Mitt Romney kid

Giulani has the shinny part too but no more hair to cut through

Nothing rhymes too perfect for me, so I better vote for Me

Support My campaign Thinkalooers, it's not as silly as you may think :)
